Spring / Summer 2013
FASHION TRENDS

Spring is just around the corner. Time to sort out the "old" stuff from our wardrobe to get some new hot trendy pieces in. The fashion trends for the summer 2013 play with contrasts of graphic prints, romantic wanderlust and iridescent sheen. Clothes become transparent, collar and sleeves are decorated with ruffles and her neck is adorned with fine jewels.

TRANSPARENCY

Transparent blouses are nothing new but this year we don't talk about lace dresses a la Dolce & Gabbana which cover the most essential parts. No, we are talking about completely transparent materials.

DOTS

Fashion goes back to Audrey Hepburn's Breakfast at Tiffany’s 1950s polka dot dress, evoking a highly feminine delicacy and sophistication next summer. The classic black and white polka dot duet is the ultimate detail for a discreet contrast in a minimalist look with an elegant edge.

TIGHT NECKLASES

The jewelery in the summer 2013 is focused on our neck. Designers such as Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy and Alber Elbaz for Lanvin adorn the necks of the models with opulent tire of metal, Plexiglas and beads. At Christian Dior and Proenza Schouler are simple, thick bands in black and red, which are tied around the neck. Spiny rock crystal tire attracted to the show by Missoni attention to itself. No less impressive is the jewelry of the Alexander McQueen show: XXL plastic collars with bees applications wrapped around the necks of the models.
